Global Intelligence Firm Arcanum Opens Offices In France

Former French Intelligence Chief to head newly established Arcanum (France) SAS
Zurich/London/Washington DC, October 1, 2015 – Arcanum, a strategic global intelligence firm and a subsidiary of Magellan Investment Holdings Limited, announced today that it has expanded its European presence to set up offices in Paris under its newly incorporated entity Arcanum (France) SAS. The Company, which is 60% owned by Arcanum’s parent-company, Magellan Investment Holdings Limited, will be headed by Bernard Squarcini, who will serve as its President.
Mr. Squarcini has over thirty years of experience in the field of intelligence and security, having served as the Chief of the French counter-terrorism and intelligence agency, Central Directorate of Interior Intelligence (DCRI). He retired in March of 2013 as Senior Executive Prefect, after having served for five years as the organization’s Chief. He founded his consulting company Kyrnos in 2012, and joined Arcanum’s Board of Advisors in June 2013. Kyrnos will continue to operate out of Arcanum (France) SAS’s office located in Paris in order to serve its existing clients, while all new clients will fall under the auspices of Arcanum (France) SAS.
